Catholic Legal Services (CLS) is a nationally recognized agency whose mission is to provide professional legal services to those who come from foreign lands and lack sufficient means to obtain representation. Without regard to faith, national origin, deifining characterisitcs, or beliefs, CLS’s team of experienced attorneys and immigration professionals have been providing free and low-cost legal services to needy immigrants for more than two decades.

Archbishop Thomas Wenski describes the priesthood as a constant state of sacrifice. Which is not to say that he regrets any of his more than 40 years in ministry.
“It’s the best work you can do,” he said. “You give yourself to God and God’s people.”

A lifetime of giving certainly has not diminished Archbishop Wenski’s sense of humor. He loves to joke (in three languages), rides a motorcycle for relaxation and has been known to puff on a cigar now and then.​
